Lady is our go-to girl and the Heart of Meadowview Labs. Born on December 8, 2018, Lady is UK-bred Labrador Retriever with a pedigree that reads like a who’s who of old champion UK Bloodlines. With likes like **FTW Paddington’s Amber Maxwell**, **Inh Eng FTCH Millbuies Dust Lad**, **FTCH Greenwood Timothy of Holdgate**, and **FTCH Swift of Swiftbrook**, Lady’s bloodline boasts some of the most accomplished and prestigious hunting lines in the UK. These champion lines, are on her sire’s side along. These lines have given Lady the natural talent and drive that makes her truly exceptional.

Lady is the embodiment of dedication. She gives 110% every single time, whether in the field or at home. She is the most driven dog we’ve ever seen and has an insatiable love for retrieving. She has proven herself time and time again with her focus and determination, including one of the most impressive retrieves we’ve ever witnessed. In 2020, Lady retrieved a bridge over 700 yards away with zero guidance — she knew exactly where that bird was, and she didn’t stop until it was in her mouth. This remarkable retrieve is what led us to get involved with UKC/HRC Hunt Tests, and we’ve never looked back!

She currently sits at 3/4 hunt tests.

Willow is a beast in the field – driven, focused, and relentless in her retrieves. Yet at home, she’s gentle, affectionate, and full of personality. She’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh, works hard, and lives to please.

Willow has also proven herself as a producer. Her first litter is already showing remarkable promise: a few of her pups are already competing that the age of 7 months old (April 2025). A few already gaining their first few passes in HRC Hunt Test, and one take 4th Place at a Shed Hunt Competition — A testament to the genetics Willow passes on. Introducing Bellatrix, or as we affectionately call her, Bella—the youngest female in our program at just 9 months old. While she still has a long road ahead before earning her place in our breeding lineup, Bella is already showing the kind of intensity, intelligence, and drive that we love to see in a young prospect.

Bella is eager to learn and remarkably easy to train, with a bold personality and a spark of fire that keeps things exciting. She carries strong influences from both her sire, Pliny, and dam, Willow, displaying their best working traits and strong instincts.

We plan to kick off her competition career in Spring 2026, and we’re thrilled to watch her develop over the coming year.

Though Bella has plenty to prove, the foundation is there—and her potential is undeniable. We’re looking forward to what the future holds for this fiery young girl.
